  • Homework:
    • Sign Video Release Form
    • Read Letter to Students (under Course Documents)
    • Write Letter to Instructors (1-2 pages, single-spaced)
      • Directions: You have read a letter from Mrs. Young and Miss Lee describing themselves to you. Now it’s your turn! You will write a letter to us describing yourself (only write one letter). Your letter must include at least three components:
        1. Tell us about yourself--your likes, dislikes, fun facts, things we should know about you, things you want to do, things you’re looking forward to, what you're most proud of, what kinds of fears you have, what's your idea of rest?
        2. Your reading habits. Do you read books? Magazines? Blogs? Do you hate reading?
        3. Your relationship with English Language Arts. What books have you enjoyed studying? Which have you loathed? Do you like writing papers? Does the word “essay” make you cringe? Do you enjoy writing non-school related things? What sort of things? Do you think grammar is worth studying?

You do not have to answer all of the abovementioned questions, however, they will guide your responses. Keep in mind that you are writing a letter, so appropriate headings and format should be used. Your letter should be 1-2 pages single-spaced. This assignment is due Thursday, January 26, 2017.
    • Bring laptop/device to class tomorrow
